The Macha Notebook

4.3 z 6 recenzí

Karel Hynek Mácha was a great patriot, an enthusiastic traveller, a theatre amateur, but also a lover of castles. One of the most famous Czech poets was born with the original name Ignác Mácha in Prague. He later changed his name to Hynek and added the first name Karel when he began to support the national revival. The motif of the blossoming collage with Mácha's portrait was created by Anna Ročková, but is based on an original drawing by Jan Vilímek.
