The book Grandfather, Tell us about the Czech Republic is a loose continuation of a series of four previous books about a grandfather and his granddaughter Viktorka. This time, the patient and kind grandfather travels with Viktorka through our country and tells her about the sights, natural beauties and famous personalities of our cultural history. Viktorka already knows a lot from school and from her earlier travels, but she still has a lot to discover. She and her grandfather tell each other about the dawn of our history, about the important rulers of the Czech Kingdom, about how people used to live and how much effort they had to make so that we can live in safety and comfort today.
