T-shirt Gočár - men

The House of the Black Mother of God, Bauer's Villa, the Arch Palace or the Anglobank in Hradec Kralove, which is the motif of our T-shirt, and dozens of other buildings. Josef Gočár was one of the most important Czech modern architects. The design of the T-shirt was created by Karolína Pucholtová, a student of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia. Josef Gočár was born in 1880 into the family of a brewery brewer, went to school in Pardubice, and later attended the School of Applied Arts in Prague in the studio of Jan Kotěra. He was a professor and rector at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, worked for Bata, designed the Czechoslovak pavilion for the international exhibition in Paris, and became a member of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Arts. He designed both cubist and functionalist buildings, and you cannot miss his mark in Hradec Králové and Pardubice, where he created award-winning urban designs.
