Who doesn't know Jawa motorcycles? The Czech brand was founded in Prague in 1929 by engineer František Janeček and is the oldest Czech motorcycle manufacturer. And the machines are still popular today. Not only all passionate bikers can have this unique with the legend of Czech and Czechoslovak motorsport. Before World War II, Janeček's motorcycles were among the world's top thanks to a number of new patents and inventions. After the nationalisation, the brand did not fall, the world saw the first mass-produced folk motorcycle with suspension wheels - Jawa 250 Perak. This was followed by the successful Pionýr or Kyvacka model, which the company exported to 120 countries. After 1990, the brand declined, but its tradition was preserved and the company was stabilized by Jihostroj a. s. Today, there is a successor company JAWA Moto spol. s r. o., which still produces motorcycles.
