Ještěd as we know it today - without a transmitter and only with a romantic shuttle cable car to the top of the mountain. The natural landmark has a height of 1,012 metres above sea level, with which it towers over Liberec. The very cable car on the poster connects the peak with Horní Hanychov, the westernmost district of Liberec. A television transmitter with a hotel and restaurant has stood on Ještěd since 1973. The author of the vintage poster from the 1930s from the Czechoslovak Government Railways series is Miloš Endler. The poster used to attract visitors to holidays in the picturesque countryside of northern Bohemia and even today it will delight not only all those who have fallen in love with the Ještěd-Kozak Ridge.
